- Located in the most impacted areas of the helmet, 3-Dimensional Movement Tectonic Plates incorporate an additional TPU Cushion and move independently of the helmet, in multiple directions, improving the helmet’s performance against rotational forces
- Incorporating a larger, more comfortable jaw pad configuration, the Helmet Stabilization System utilizes both internal and external stabilizers and high performance impact foam to give you a secure, “locked-in” feel inside the helmet
- Engineered into the back and temporal sides of the shell, the Flexural Resistance Shell Design improves structure, strength and durability of the shell, while increasing area for TPU Cushioning in high impact areas and improving impact absorption
Tektonic Plate Technology
Strategically incorporated into the areas of the helmet that receive the highest number of impacts, Tektonic Plates (and the new, external TPU Cushion) improve the helmet’s performance against rotational forces and add an additional layer of impact absorption to the helmet. The Tektonic Plates move independently of the helmet shell, reacting in multiple directions to help better distribute the energy of an impact.
