Mizuno uses Black Onyx Carbon material to make up this bat, which is an explosive material that will maximize the potential of every swing. This Whiteout 2 Xtreme also plays with a power hitter in mind, as it’s made with an End Load Swing Weight. This weighting means Mizuno put more weight in the barrel (as opposed to balancing the weight evenly throughout the bat) and that means more mass in the Unsurpassed Sweet Spot to drive the ball to the fence, more often! Mizuno also includes the new 3Z Technology, which targets 3 zones of the barrel to enhance the sweet spot, leaving you with one very forgiving hitting machine. The Whiteout 2 Xtreme also has incredible durability. The reason for this is Mizuno used Reinforced Taper and More Resin, so feel free to use this for long cage sessions and prime time games, season after season. Another reason for the increased durability is the Cylinder Seaming Technique, which eliminates seams and inconsistencies along the barrel. The Anti-Shock Construction is another great addition, as it absorbs a lot of vibration and will limit the sting that gets to your hands, even on those miss-hits.
Lastly, the Whiteout 2 Xtreme comes with a USSSA 1.20 BPF Thumbprint Stamp, approving it for play in USSSA, ASA, NSA and ISA softball associations (not approved by ISF).
